PNC-27 is a synthetic “chimeric” peptide currently under investigation for its potential anti-cancer properties. It is designed to target a specific protein interaction that occurs in cancer cells but not in healthy ones.
While the laboratory data is scientifically interesting, it is critical to note that as of April 2026, PNC-27 has not been approved by the FDA or other major regulatory bodies for the treatment of any disease.
PNC-27 works through a unique two-part structure:
How it Targets Cancer
Laboratory studies (In Vitro and Animal Models) have shown activity against several cell lines:
Cancer Type Reported Effect Pancreatic Cancer Induced necrosis in MIA-PaCa-2 cells via mitochondrial disruption. Leukemia Effective against K562 (p53-null) and stem-cell enriched AML cells. Multiple Myeloma Penetrates cytoplasm to induce oxidative stress and mitochondrial damage.
